Computer Generated Solutions Announces Bluecherry University
NEW YORK, NY - October 18, 2004 - Computer Generated Solutions, Inc. (CGS) today announces the launch of BlueCherry University, a complete course curriculum for all BlueCherry customers. Since the introduction of BlueCherry Enterprise Suite to the marketplace in 2001, leading companies have implemented this robust suite of multi-platform enterprise resources planning (ERP), supply chain management (SCM) and sales automation systems specifically designed to meet the needs of softgoods manufacturers, distributors and retailer. With over 100 customers utilizing the solution, CGS realized the need for a more interactive training and education system that would allow customers to roll out software functionality and train their staff in a "hands-on" environment.
The course curriculum has been designed to offer clients the path to become BlueCherry Certified. As an expert user of the system, BlueCherry Certified Professionals can make a valuable contribution to their company.
BlueCherry University will officially launch in the first quarter of 2005 with a complete schedule of classes designed for all audiences including administrators, production, sales and accounting. Each module is comprised of a weeklong session on key topics. Current topics include:
- Admin and Utility sessions: report writer, data conversion & database structure, task scheduler, security, and BC Support & Qsite.
- Production sessions: purchasing & production, production maintenance, bill of materials, letters of costing & credit, and shipping & tracking.
- Sales sessions: customer set-up, EDI basics, bulk handling, order entry, warehouse management, and returns handling.
- Accounting sessions: credit & factor management, collection, cash application, inventory management, accounts payable, and G&L.
