CGS and Visual Next Host Their First Combined Customer Event in Montreal

CGS and Visual Next Speak to Customers at August 2019 Customer Reception in Montreal

In May of this year, CGS acquired the business of Visual Next, a leading provider of end-to-end software to apparel, footwear, uniform, and fashion accessory companies.  Last week, the CGS team kicked off a warm welcome for Visual Next clients in Montreal. The CGS and Visual Next leadership team discussed the vision and strategy for the company and the innovation needed to meet the demands of the changing fashion and apparel industry. Most importantly, the leadership team focused on the company’s vision for 2020.

During the Q&A, led by Charles Benoualid and moderated by Paul Magel, Phil Friedman fielded questions about our plans to expand the company’s Montreal office. We addressed hot-button topics and questions about our R&D plans as well as ongoing client support of our ever-growing customer base. Charles spoke at length about why it was important to secure the future of Visual Next by merging the business with CGS. He reassured everyone in the room that this is the best possible outcome for all employees and clients. Phil provided a bit of history about CGS and the importance of the fashion and apparel brands to its long-established business. Paul discussed how combining efforts and mindshare will benefit all parties and contribute to the growth of the product suite, which is valuable to our existing and future customers. Together, we will continue to hire additional staff to fill the demands of present and future clients as the company evolves and changes.  The Future Looks Good!

Nearly 200 customers attended the overflowing cocktail reception. The group consisted of local Montreal clients – some of which were Visual Next customers for 20 years. The attendees also included new, world-renowned fashion labels. Customers were able to expand their access into the technical knowledge and expertise of both teams at the event.

“I am very thankful to the team for putting this customer event together. The reception brought a lot of value. I think CGS and Visual Next have really put their best foot forward and I look forward to seeing how it develops in 2020.” -- Tina D’Onofrio, Deejay Group
