System Engineer - Bucuresti

We are looking to recruit a Systems Engineer to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the inhouse information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all the company network components.

 

Responsibilities

  • Creative and technical problem-solving techniques while installing, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft and VMWare systems and servers.
  • Creating systems policies and authorization roles and defending against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
  • Develop and deploy proactive solutions to ensure system usability and security across the organization.
  • Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  • Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
  • Training staff to understand and use the network environment and security best practices.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience with systems planning, implementing, troubleshooting, and management Microsoft and VMWare environments.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
  • 2-3 years’ experience delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation and support
Network Engineer - Bucuresti

We are looking to recruit a CCNP level or equivalent experienced Network Engineer to establish and maintain a global network and its performance by building modern network configurations and connections, troubleshooting network problems and being able to multitask.

 

Responsibilities

  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
  • Participate in global support on-call rotation to support the various geographic sites
  • Participate in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade converged network solutions
  • Architect networks for new services, identify areas of improvement, and develop/implement acceptance testing plans
  • Analysis for root cause determination of issues including recommendations for improvements
  • Provide training and mentoring to other team members
  • Respond to support calls and escalations of customer issues on a 24/7 basis as required

 

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on network engineering experience
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, IBGP,  OSPF, QoS, CoS, MPLS, VRF, VLANS, VPNs, IPSEC, HSRP, and 802.11)
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
  • 2-3 years’ experience delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation and support
