New York, NY, and Tampa, FL – September 30, 2020 – CGS, a global provider of business applications, enterprise learning and outsourcing services, today announced its 20th anniversary of opening its Tampa, Florida, office. The facility provides dedicated business process outsourcing (BPO) help desk, technical and sales support, customer care and social media care to the company’s growing list of multinational clients. >
The facility, which opened in September 2000, is marking the milestone on September 30 by recognizing its employees who have more than 10 years with the company, celebrating via virtual online event with all employees and providing personalized gifts to the Tampa team.
“With just 100 employees, we launched the Florida office with a project for a major technology client and today we serve several diverse industries and have more than tripled our staff there,” said CGS president and CEO Phil Friedman. “We’re proud of the team we have in place and the expansion of services we offer to our valued customers. The global clients serviced through this office have partnered with us to leverage our high-level technical support and the quality of customer service we deliver.”
Strongly committed to the area, CGS has partnered with dozens of local organizations in the Tampa area, including Trinity Café, Tampa Humane Society, Metropolitan Ministries, Habitat for Humanity and Keiser University. Over the last two decades, the CGS team spent hundreds of hours giving back to the local community and recruiting for various positions at the company. Since its founding, the company has offered training and career development programs, promoting within for its management teams locally.
