New York, NY – November 20, 2014 — CGS, a leading global provider of business applications, learning and outsourcing solutions announces that its Threadvine team will participate as guest lecturers at the Fashion Institute of Technology State University of New York (FIT) Faces and Places in Fashion event on Monday, November 24th.
The Faces and Places in Fashion event is aimed at bringing the current and next generation of the fashion and consumer goods industry together for an educational and informative experience to engage, discuss and debate current industry challenges and learn about emerging technologies.
The CGS Threadvine team, including Jennifer Terrone, Account Executive and FIT alumna; Daniella Platt, Account Executive; and Ross West, VP and Founder of Threadvine will host a lecture and discussion exploring the historical journey of traditional selling methods and processes to successful selling techniques in today’s digital and connected world, and will highlight how innovative technologies and modern developments are shaping the fashion and consumer goods industry to benefit to both sellers and retail buyers.
The Threadvine team will also demonstrate the Threadvine ecommerce solution, which enables brands and wholesalers to engage retail buyers and reps, promote their products, select assortments and receive confirmed orders online.
