CGS – 2016 Year in Review

2016 Year In Review

2016 was a great chapter in the 32-year history of CGS. It was a stellar year for us, and as we dive into 2017, we want to share our successes with you; not to brag, but to showcase our team, our clients, their efforts and the results of our core values.

January

We kicked off 2016 with some great news, we proudly welcomed Glamorise, a designer and manufacturer of undergarments, to the BlueCherry® family. Glamorise selected CGS’s BlueCherry ERP Suite to support its sales expansion and supply chain processes.


February

February was another exciting month for our BlueCherry group. Our fashion, apparel, and consumer goods customers joined us at our 13th annual INSIGHT event, where BlueCherry users connected with industry experts to discuss the trends and technology driving the industry.

Also, BPO was named to the GO100 list for the first time!

March

We celebrated our expansion in Chile and Romania, launched a new dashboard for RMM for our tech outsourcing customers and celebrated as BlueCherry PLM was named in IDC Marketscape.


April

In April, CGS was named to the 2016 Top 20 Training Outsourcing Companies list by TrainingIndustry.com. What an honor to be recognized among the best providers of training services in technology! On the heels of that SFC launched a new enhancement. We never stop improving our capabilities.


May

As the weather warmed up, CGS was on fire. ALDO Group Inc, a world-leading creator and operator of desirable footwear and accessory brands, selected CGS’s BlueCherry to support its franchise and retail stores! Our BlueCherry B2B eCommerce solution was chosen to help to reduce costs, shorten sales cycles and improve buyer interface for ALDO.

In addition to another big customer joining us, we proudly welcomed a new member to our leadership team. Tali Rabin was named as CGS's SVP Human Resources, leading the global HR team.


June

We were honored to be listed as a major provider in BPO in Gartner’s CRM Vendor Guide 2016.

On the applications side, Pendleton Woolen Mills, a globally acclaimed lifestyle brand, and Etienne Aigner a women’s lifestyle brand for handbags, footwear, jewelry, and apparel, selected CGS’s BlueCherry to streamline operations and support growth.


July

In July, we began a partnership with Alfred Angelo, America’s oldest and foremost bridal company, as we implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX to support its business growth and improve visibility.


August

As the summer days grew longer, CGS picked up the pace. In August, we expanded and upgraded our first office in Hyderabad, India, an increasingly undeniable tech hub in the international community. The facility supports CGS’s worldwide growth by adding new product lines for software development and support.


September

In September, an impressive list of new customers including Star Garments Limited, Bill Levkoff, and Feathered Friends joined the BlueCherry community.


October

Our Israel office celebrated its first anniversary by giving certificates to each employee with over one year of service at CGS and held a special event to honor a selected Annual Outstanding Representative. Meanwhile, our call center agents around the world enjoyed Customer Service Week festivities.

November

The year began to wind down, but our efforts continued to pay off. We were named to Training Industry’s Top 20 list, Hired a new CIO John Samuel, and helped Romania celebrate its 14-year anniversary.

 

 

 

 


December

We ended the year spinning at the sixth annual Spin for Hunger event, which CGS proudly sponsored, and celebrated being named Frost & Sullivan’s 2016 Contact Center Outsourcing Services Company of the Year in Chile!

 

All in all, 2016 is one that we can be proud of. We supported our clients and our community, while also strengthening the foundation of our services.
